Dee started djing in 1985,playing disco,funk,soul and hip hop,before getting into house music in 1987-88.Over the years Dee has played at some of clublands seminal clubs and events like "progress" in derby, "venue 44" in mansfield, "cultural vibes" in plymouth, "luvdup" in manchester, "mambo" in ibiza, "club uk" both in london and wolverhampton,"discovery" in manchester, "the drum club" in london "hot to trot" in preston, luvdups boat parties in chester, "screamadelica" in london and more recently as former long standing resident dj at club warehouse - playing for"atlantis","diva", "miss moneypennys", "housonic", "liason", "motherfunkers", "cream", "funk rockers" ,"absolutley" and "be somebody" to name but a few, as well as other clubs and events in the area including "opium lounge", "club sky", "pacific edge","studio 33","scala" and "rize" at the loop.Dee also runs "funkadelic" and dj`s on www.shine879.com - saturdays 12-2pm,with fellow funkadelic resident dj Tre. Dee`s describes his musical style as "not funky house but funky house music, with more than a touch of disco" - something that shows in both his sets and his own productions.
